Mac OS X On HP Probooks

Ever Thought of experimenting with the laptops provided by our college to the first year student .These laptops were a custom order to HP, model No HP Probook 4440S .They Run great if you are looking for the day to day student workflow even they can handle light gaming all due to the improvement is sandybridge and the intel HD4000 GPU .

Ever Wondered How Would Mac OS X Look Like or Even Work on these Laptops ??

So What We Did We Tried Installing Mac OS X 10.9 ie the latest version of Mac OS on these laptop as a weekend project.
There Were few hiccup at  first ,but after a night of trying ,making drivers and kertex for OS X ,using different Boot Flag ,Partitioning the Hard drive we finally succeeded in booting Genuine Version Of OS X Mavericks on the Laptop.

So After Working for A While The GPU Was Running Perfectly ,The Sound was Working ,The Camera ,Keyboard ,Trackpad etc were working like a Macbook Pro.

The Only Problem That We Found Was that the Wifi Card that the laptop has installed is not supported by Mac OS X and Even the Linux driver aren't available so that you cant make custom driver's for it .

So Except for the WiFi All Hardware is working Like A Macbook ,But There is a soloution to that you can buy a usb wifi dongle or can replace the PCI Wifi Card Inside the Laptop to get the wifi working .
We Are working on the wifi issue so Stay Tuned For More !!
